Preposterousness

I swear, I was only googling to find the exact words of a quote I remembered, attributed to George Orwell: "there are some ideas so preposterous only an intellectual will believe them." Don't ask why this came back to mind and why I wanted to verify it. But google only discovered a couple references to the quote. One brought me to Shrinkwrapped's blog which offers some interesting material (by the way, he has been UNable to verify the authenticity of the quote) including the following: Pity the Poor Anti-Semite.
